Independent Examination Validates Operating Effectiveness of Security Controls Supporting the Company’s Cloud-Based Robotics Software
BOSTON – October 27, 2026 – Realtime Robotics™, the leader in industrial AI for automated robot system design and deployment, today announced that it has successfully completed a SOC 2® Type 2 examination for its flagship Resolver® platform. Conducted by auditing firm Sensiba LLP, the examination evaluated the design and operating effectiveness of the company’s security controls over a three-month period, providing independent validation of its commitment to protecting customer information.
As manufacturers increasingly adopt connected automation, physical AI tools, and cloud-based software to accelerate production planning and deployment, security is an important consideration when choosing technology partners. Organizations need confidence that the systems supporting their engineering and manufacturing workflows are backed by well-designed security controls that operate effectively over time.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SOC 2 is an auditing framework that evaluates controls relevant to the security and management of information. Unlike a Type 1 examination, which assesses the design of controls at a point in time, a Type 2 examination evaluates both the design and operating effectiveness of controls over a specified period.
“Automotive and other large manufacturers are relying more and more on cloud-based software and AI-driven automation to make production planning faster, more flexible, and more efficient,” said Kevin Carlin, CEO of Realtime Robotics. “As our customers adopt these technologies, they need confidence in the systems and processes behind them. Completing our SOC 2 Type 2 attestation demonstrates our commitment to maintaining effective information security and building the trust required to support our customers as they modernize and scale their manufacturing operations.”
Realtime Robotics’ Resolver automates and optimizes key aspects of factory planning and robot system design and deployment. By enabling engineers to evaluate, simulate, and optimize manufacturing decisions earlier in the product and process development lifecycle, Resolver helps manufacturers reduce engineering bottlenecks, accelerate program launches, and respond more quickly to changing production demands.
