As an experienced program management leader at Realtime Robotics, you will help us define, build, execute and launch autonomous robot solutions. In this role, you'll join the Realtime Robotics team whose focus is on building a robotics platform with the goal of bringing real time motion planning to simulated and physical robot applications. Within the product team this role encompasses tracking dependencies across teams, planning the deliverables. This role will work closely with software development engineers, hardware engineers, engineering managers, and product managers to connect the dots, define processes, and run schedules. This role will also interface with our global partners to ensure business to business projects are kept on schedule and deliverables are met. In this position, you will:

  • Drive technical programs from requirements through launch, including running complex project schedules, removing roadblocks, and keeping processes running efficiently.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Customer facing teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows.

  • Be the primary point of contact for our business partners and ensure ongoing collaboration and thriving business relationships.   

  • As the focal point, schedule and lead status meetings, handle communication of progress/status within/across engineering teams and supervise critical issues.

  • Lead and improve existing product development and software release processes and collaborate with engineering and product management leaders to refine the workflows to improve efficiencies.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, robotics, or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing and leading complex software projects.

  • Solid track record of being well organized, having excellent listening skills and being detail oriented; in an environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.

  • Ability to think long term and to build consensus to make programs successful.

  • Experience working with large complex organizations with numerous stakeholders who have various competing interests. 

  • Fluency in English

Preferred:

  • Experience with modern programming language or simulation tools (ROS, Tecnomatix, PLC Programming, Robotics Programming)   

  • Detailed knowledge of software engineering principles.

  • Background with Agile tools and processes.

  • PM Certification/training and/or MBA from leading school.

  • Hands on experience working in the following areas: Robotics, Simulation, Virtual

  • Commissioning, or Industrial Automation, Logistics. 

  • Fluency in German
