Robotics Software Engineer, Optimization Team

Reporting to the Manager of Robot Science, the Robotics Software Engineer will leverage and apply their technical and theoretical knowledge to extend our core technology capabilities.
In this position, you will:
Develop optimization and control algorithms for our robotics products
Maintain and extend software architecture of our robotics products
Work in a cross functional team consisting of software developers, test engineers, UX designers and product managers
Attend stand up meetings, perform code reviews, create software design documentation, and write code
BS / MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field
Proficient in C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17, etc.) with experience writing libraries
Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
Familiar with large-scale scalable software architectures
Experience working in linux environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field
Familiar with multithreading programing and real-time computing
Understanding of basic robotics or/and mathematics concepts (vectors, coordinate systems, joint/configuration space, etc)
Proficient in Python3
Experience with ROS2
