Reporting to the Director of Robotics Engineering, the Robotics Scientist will be responsible for designing and implementing core algorithms for motion planning, trajectory optimization, execution monitoring, multi-robot coordination, control, and interfacing with industrial robots. This will include direct and indirect communications with industrial robot manufacturers, integrators, and application-side technical experts. In this position, you will:

  • Design and implement high-performance algorithms for all aspects of motion generation on high-speed, industrial robots.

  • Develop software that communicates with different industrial robots over a variety of protocols.

  • Work with robot manufacturers to troubleshoot issues with robot performance and stability.

  • Support field engineers to solve customer's automation challenges using Realtime's technology.

  • Help determine new features and development for an exciting, fast-moving technology company!


  • MSc / PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field, with substantial in-depth experience in robot motion planning and control.

  • At least one prior professional experience using C++.

  • At least one prior (university project, academic, or professional) experience in deploying a robotics application.
